UWCL 25/26 Juventus 3-3 Lyon Scorecard

Lyon came from three goals down to snatch a dramatic last-minute draw at the Stadio Vittorio Pozzo last night. The French side’s perfect record in this years campaign ended, but their unbeaten run continues.

Juventus stunned their visitors by racing into a 3‑0 lead inside the opening 37 minutes. The scoring began in the 12th minute when Chiara Beccari’s cross-come-shot looped over Christiane Endler in the Lyon goal. Michela Cambiaghi doubled the lead on 27 minutes, poking home from close range after a precise cutback by Tatiana Pinto. Ten minutes later, Pinto made it three, rifling in from the edge of the box after being played through by Beccari – both goals arriving on blistering counter-attacks. The visitors were stunned.

After the break, Lyon emerged with renewed intensity and dominated the second half. Tabitha Chawinga pulled one back on the hour mark, latching onto a perfectly weighted Ada Hegerberg through ball and finishing calmly. Marie‑Antoinette Katoto made it 3‑2 on 79 minutes with a leaping header from a Selma Bacha delivery. Then, in the 90th minute, a handball by Cecilia Salvai handed Lyon a penalty, which captain Wendie Renard confidently dispatched to complete the comeback.

For Juventus, the match will feel like two points dropped – a first-half display of their highest level undone by Lyon’s late resurgence. The draw moves Lyon to 10 points from four matches, while Juventus remain on seven and still firmly in contention for the playoffs.

Next up, Juventus host St. Pölten. Lyon, meanwhile, travel to Manchester United, where another result could all but confirm their place in the knockouts.

UWCL 25/26 Wolfsburg 5-2 Man United Scorecard

Wolfsburg came from behind to beat Manchester United in emphatic fashion, 5‑2 – ending United’s perfect start in the league phase.

United began brightly and took the lead when Fridolina Rolfö (14′) nodded home after great work down the left and a crisp cross by Melvine Malard. But Wolfsburg responded swiftly. Ella Peddemors was gifted a chance by United keeper Middleton-Patel’s failed clearance (17′), curling a shot into the top corner. Middleton-Patel’s night went from bad to worse when Peddemors’ 30-yard effort somehow crept in past the United keeper (37′). On 45′, Lineth Beerensteyn extended the lead, firing in a superb strike from distance after another United error – this time from a wayward Zigiotti Olme pass. On the stroke of half-time, United narrowed the gap when Malard lobbed the keeper (45+2′), capitalising on a failed Wolfsburg back-pass.

After the interval, Wolfsburg regained control. Beerensteyn grabbed her second of the night (65′) with a low finish. Then, deep in stoppage time (90+6′), Vivien Endemann pounced on another poor back-pass, rounded the keeper, and sealed the 5‑2 victory.

For Manchester United, the sheer number of simple mistakes will hurt most. For Wolfsburg, the win puts them joint with United on points, both still firmly into contention for the knockout stages.

Next up, Manchester United host European heavyweights Lyon as they aim to bounce back. Wolfsburg travel on to face Real Madrid.

UWCL 25/26 Paris FC 2-1 Benfica Scorecard

Paris FC claimed their first win in the competition with a vital 2‑0 victory over Benfica – a result defined by Caroline Møller’s sending off in the 30th minute.

Benfica were reduced to ten when Møller (30′) received a second yellow card for a second late lunging tackle in the space of three minutes, leaving her side facing an uphill battle to secure their first win of the campaign.

Paris FC took full advantage. They broke the deadlock just before half‑time when Maeline Mendy’s close‑range effort, aided by a deflection, found the net. Benfica responded well after the break and continued to create chances – the closest coming when Beatriz Cameirão struck the woodwork. But substitute Maëlle Garbino (62′) sealed the win with a close‑range header from Anaële Le Moguedec’s pinpoint cross.

The result gives Paris FC a lifeline and lifts them into the playoff places. For Benfica, it’s another setback in a difficult campaign – just one point from four matches.

Up next, Paris FC travel to Vålerenga in a potentially decisive fixture. Benfica, now fighting for their survival in the competition, must travel to face Barcelona. Oh dear.

UWCL 25/26 Valerenga 2-2 St Polten Scorecard

Vålerenga surrendered a 2‑0 lead to draw 2‑2 at home to St. Pölten at the Intility Arena – a result that will sting for the Norwegian side.

The hosts began with real intent and struck early. Karina Sævik opened the scoring in the 11th minute, guiding in a perfect low cross from Ylinn Tennebø with composure. Minutes later, Olaug Tvedten (18′) extended the lead with a long‑range strike which the keeper should really have kept out, giving Vålerenga what looked like a comfortable cushion. Vålerenga continued to dominate but lacked quality in the final third.

However, St. Pölten responded with two quickfire goals either side of the break. The first – their first of the competition – came when Kess Elmore (45′) slotted home from close range after Enblom spilled a routine save. Early in the second half, Jennifer Klein converted from the penalty spot (56′) after a handball was given via VAR – bringing the visitors had drawn level.

For Vålerenga, the draw will feel like two points dropped: they controlled the early stages but failed to close out the match. For St. Pölten, it’s a first point – made sweeter by the nature of the comeback.

Next up, Vålerenga travel to face Paris FC as they aim to sneak into the playoff places. St. Pölten prepare for another demanding fixture at home to Juventus.

UWCL 25/26 FC Twente 0-4 Atletico Madrid Scorecard

Atlético de Madrid kept their qualification campaign alive with an emphatic 4‑0 away win over FC Twente.

Amaiaur Sarriegi (29′) put the visitors in front with a low drive after a swift move through midfield. Twente struggled to cope with the visitors’ intensity and were further undone when Julia Bartel doubled the lead with a thunderous strike from distance on 41 minutes – an early contender for goal of the tournament.

Twente offered little response and were punished again midway through the second half as Synne Jensen (67′) made it three, rifling the ball in off the bar from the edge of the box. Fiamma Benítez (85′) then capped off the performance, reacting quickest to a goal line block to tap home.

The result propels Atlético to six points and back into playoff contention, now just three points off the automatic places. They host an in-form Bayern next. Twente, meanwhile, remain winless and face an uphill battle to progress, with a daunting trip to Arsenal in a couple of weeks.

UWCL 25/26 FC Chelsea 1-1 Barcelona Scorecard

Chelsea and Barcelona shared the points in a tightly contested 1–1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Ellie Carpenter (16′) gave Chelsea the perfect start with a moment of magic – latching onto a through ball from Aggie Beever-Jones just inside the Barça half, driving into the box, and smashing her shot into the roof of the net. The Blues looked confident early on, pressing well and exploiting space in wide areas.

But Barcelona responded just eight minutes later. Ewa Pajor, given too much time after Chelsea failed to clear a corner, rifled the ball past Livia Peng to make it 1–1.

Both sides threatened to win it in the second half – but neither could find a breakthrough. The quality of these two European heavyweights was evenly matched.

A win for Chelsea would have taken them top. Instead, they sit one point outside the automatic places, with a home tie against Roma next. Barcelona’s perfect record is gone, but they remain top of the group due to their far superior goal difference.

UWCL 25/26 FC OH Leuven 1-1 Roma Scorecard

OH Leuven held Roma to a 1–1 draw, securing a vital point that keeps them in the hunt for qualification, while Roma’s struggles deepen.

It was Roma who started brighter, with Evelyne Viens (18′) finishing neatly after a one-two with Alice Corelli. Leuven looked off the pace and offered little in a frustrating first half. Roma thought they had doubled their lead on 31 and 52 minutes, but both efforts were ruled out for offside.

Leuven, unbeaten at home in Europe before this match, improved after the break. Their pressure paid off when VAR awarded a penalty after Valentina Bergamaschi was wrestled to the ground. Jada Conijnenberg (71′) converted from the spot to level.

Leuven move to five points from four matches, with only one loss –away to Barcelona – in what is their first-ever UWCL proper campaign. Roma, still winless, sit bottom with qualification hopes all but gone.

Up next, Leuven travel to PSG in a key test of their knockout credentials. For Roma, it only gets tougher – a trip to Chelsea awaits.

UWCL 25/26 FC PSG 1-3 Bayern Munich Scorecard

Bayern Munich came from behind to earn a crucial 3–1 away win over Paris Saint-Germain – a result that all but guarantees at least a playoff place.

PSG struck first through Sakina Karchaoui (16′), finishing brilliantly from the edge of the box to give the hosts an early lead. But their advantage lasted less than a minute. Linda Dallmann (17′) responded immediately for Bayern, pouncing on a loose ball in the box to level.

From there, it was all about clinical finishing. The match remained balanced in open play, but Bayern showing greater quality in key moments. Momoko Tanikawa (34′) gave the visitors the lead with a mazy run and composed finish, and PSG struggled to respond. Any hopes of a comeback were extinguished late on when Jovana Damnjanović (89′) sealed the result with a poacher’s finish at the death.

That’s now three wins on the spin for Bayern, who rise into the automatic qualification places. For PSG, the defeat leaves them bottom with four losses from four.

Next up, Bayern visit Atlético Madrid in a clash with major knockout implications. PSG host OH Leuven needing a win to salvage pride.
